CySec (Cypriotic regulator)

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), commonly known as CySEC, is the financial regulator of Cyprus.

Since Cyprus is a member of the European Union, CySEC is a part of European MiFID regulation. This gives firms that are registered in Cyprus and regulated by CySEC access to all European markets.

Notably, a significant number of overseas retail forex brokers have obtained registration from CySEC.
