Swing trader

A swing trader is a long-term trader who holds onto trades for several days.

Generally, a swing trader will seek to identify long-term trends and hang onto them with patience.

A swing trader makes money following large moves. Spreads will have as much of an impact as they do with shorter-term trading.

Because of its long-term nature, swing trading requires larger stop losses in order to absorb the volatile movements.

Swing trading is very suitable for people who do not have time to watch charts all day.
